This slab is a mate to the other mesquite table on this site. The thick slab has been filled with black epoxy in areas, while leaving open portions for a dimensional effect. Black painted steel 1″x3″ rectangular cube legs finish the look.
This table uses 1″ mesquite pieces with a center of turquoise epoxy. The base is a painted square steel cube base, which adds a subtle look, so it doesn’t take away from the top’s appearance.
This table weighed in at 65 lbs when shipped out, so it’s a behemoth of a table. The extra thick slab is comprised of Mesquite, and router cut to provide the voids shown in the table. The legs are custom made hairpin legs made from 1″ square tube steel.
This table top features a translucent turquoise epoxy that can be back lit for a dramatic glowing effect. The thick slab is smooth, has a solid weight, and would be a great side table for a variety of settings.
This mesquite coffee table is a mate to another project found on this site. I was especially captivated by the unique design of the wood’s ends – eaten up by the various bugs that once lived in the tree. The low and long format makes a striking statement in any setting.
This table is part of a new series of tables that are poured at the same time, in an effort to bring production costs and time while maximizing the beauty of each project. The 18″ square design fits in a wide range of settings, and the base heights can be adjusted to the customer’s request. The mesquite wood and virtually any combination of color / transparency offer a great deal of flexibility in design.
